J;Marcus Design was founded by Joshua Stapleton in 2016 as a multifaceted design studio based in Melbourne Australia. Covering Interior Design, Photography, Videography and Styling. 

Growing up as a ballet dancer and reaching a professional level by the age of 18, Joshua has aways had a creative stream. Whilst studying a Bachelor of Design for almost 2 years at Whitehouse Institute of Design Joshua worked with Peter Alexander, Louis Vuitton, Carla Zampatti, the National Gallery of Victoria and Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival whilst landing a Head Design role at a renowned Melbourne Interior Design Studio before graduating.

Thrown straight into the deep end Joshua took over creative direction for shoots with Dulux, Adore Magazine, Real Living, Carrie Bickmore, Minty Magazine, The Block to name a few. Joshua has delivered interior styling, shooting editorial and advertising campaigns and in 2018 was featured on Channel 9's "My Dream Job" entailing the process of him mentoring a future interior designer by capturing his day to day job broadcast on Nine Network in conjunction with Seek. 

From working with leading Australian design destination, Norsu Interiors as their resident photographer and in house stylist Joshua's role expanded into content creation and management of social media channels with a major focus on the companies 280,000 instagram following. Transitioning his role at Norsu by stepping out on his own platform and creating what he likes to call 'magic' for various companies across Melbourne & Sydney. 

Projects have involved the overall creative direction, delivery of end to end EDM's, online web development of graphics, videography, graphic design (Online & Instore), visual merchandising, styled shoots and on location editorials. Along with this J;Marcus Design has worked with commercial and residential clients on the interior design of spaces including concept to creation projects and general home and event styling. 

Notable projects Joshua has worked on include; creating The Melbourne Interior City Guide for Cadabbra, the design of the Dulux Headquarters reception area, brand development of Life of Uscha. Joshua has worked closely with creating content for Frey Home and most recently styling and shooting a house for Victoria & David Beckham at a Mosman property during their visit to Sydney in collaboration with Luxico Group.
